Planning your first holiday on snow or just want to learn a new skill, give skiing a go!
Even if you’ve already learnt the basics, our super knowledgeable Instructors can help you take your skiing to the next level, master the moguls, negotiate the waves or even grab some air over the kicker!
TASTERS
A 1 hour introduction to the sport on the nursery slope,
to help decide if skiing is for you!
Fun to try by yourself or with a group.
BEGINNER LESSONS
Starting with the basics on the nursery slope,
this 6 hour course is taught over 4 weeks.
You’ll be getting to grips with your kit, balance and
linking turns, all in preparation for supervised sessions!
SUPERVISED
Once you’ve completed your beginner lessons
or can already control speed and link turns on skis,
you can take out a membership and book onto our
fully-coached supervised sessions where you will
work your way up the slope!
CHILDREN'S LESSONS
At the age of 5, your little one can give it a go in our Polar Bears session.
For ages 6-11, our Saturday children’s lessons are the way to go!
Start on the beginner course then graduate to continuation lessons.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Because we know beginners and supervised isn’t the right fit for
everyone, we offer 1:1 or small group tuition to build your
confidence on skis and improve your technique.
ADAPTIVE
Whatever your ability or disability, our fortnightly Adaptive sessions
are the place to get your skis on!
OPEN PRACTICE
‘Signed off’ from the top of the main slope?
You can book to attend Open Practice, work on your riding
and just enjoy being on top of Trowse Mountain.
FREESTYLE
When you’ve been ‘signed off’ from the top
of the main slope and have mastered your skis,
our Coaches will introduce you to the art of Freestyle.
FURTHER COACHING
Once you have been ‘signed off’ and have your membership,
we’ve got a great selection of Clubs for you to join;
a brilliant opportunity to continue your learning and meet new people!

and book them in for some fun on the slopes!

QUESTIONS
What age can you learn to Ski?
Our Polar Bear group is for 5 year old, Junior Beginners 6-11.
Our Tasters are 8+ and Beginner Lessons are 12+
How much does it cost?

How do I book?
You can book a Taster online. For any other lessons, please give us a call 01603 662781.
What time do we need to arrive?
For Tasters and Lessons, please arrive 30 minutes early to get kitted up.
I’m a complete beginner, where do I start?
If you just fancy a try, then the 1 hour Taster is perfect! If you want to learn the basics, then definitely Beginner Lessons.
What should I bring/wear?

Do you provide kit?
We provide the helmet, boots and skis.
Can I bring my own?
Yes! Lots of people bring their own kit when they regularly ski.
Will there be an Instructor?
Definitely!!! All of our Instructors are fully qualified volunteers, who teach to share their love of the sport – our heroes!
I’ve skied before, can I try your slope?
Afraid you can’t just rock up, but if you are able to link turns and control your speed then ‘Sign-Off’ is for you. Our Instructors need to know you are safe before letting you lose!
I can ski, can I teach my family/friends?
Nope! You may know what you’re doing but our fabulous Instructors go through a lot of continual training and checks to ensure they are competent to teach on our slopes 😊
