Ski Performance Camp 28-31 May

Change to Open Practice Sundays 5th and 12th May

Please note that due to a special ERSA training day, there will be no open practice or supervised practice on Sunday 5th May until 7pm when evening open practice will start. An ERSA race day follows on Sunday May 12th so there will be no daytime open practice, supervised will start at 5pm and evening open practice at 7pm 

New Software Going Live

The Club is updating its booking and management IT system and this will Go Live on Wednesday 1st May with further modifications following throughout 2013. Please bear with us as this is going to be a major change for our reception team, for full details please see the attached document.
In the meantime we apologise for any hiccups that may occur

Will selected for England Freestyle Team

We can now announce that Will Feneley has been selected for the England Freeski Team! So pleased for him. Jane posted the list of thanks already but there are a lot of people who've trained and supported him and continue to do so. All his race ski coaches - snow and dry slope, freestyle coaches, his gymnastic coaches at King's Lynn (6 hours per week!), his schools for support and Head ski for their sponsorship.

The 2013 TJ Baldwin Summer Races - Sat 29th June

Saturday 29th June at Norfolk Snowsports Club – Starts at 2pm
 
Norfolk Snowsports Club are pleased to support one of Great Britain’s top Downhill & Super G racers, Norfolk’s own TJ Baldwin (22).
 
TJ has been the British Champion in 5 Alpine events in both 2011 & 2012. He has been on the British ski team since he was 11-years-old and is now one of GB’s best hopes in both Downhill & Super G for the 2014 Winter Olympics & the 2015 World Champs. He has already skied in World Cup races in 2011/12 and at the 2011 World champs and will be ranked inside the top 100 in the World for 2013/14.
 
He learnt to ski at the NSC and raced for the Norfolk race team on dry slope winning, Eastern region, British & 
European titles before moving onto snow. He is still registered as a Norfolk racer. 
Please come along to this fantastic day of racing and fun to support Norfolk’s best ever Alpine ski racer to help him 
represent GB at World Cup & Olympic level.

Club News

Regular visitors will have seen that the club have almost completed some extension work to reception prior to updating our booking system, the whole ground floor including the toilets, will also receive a new coat of paint in due course.
We ask you to bear with us while we change over from our ageing flex system. we hope to start with the new system in May.There will be some minor changes to the way we handle certain membership issues such as new membership cards for all and green time but basic entitlements will not change.
