Pro-Slalom Christmas Challenge including full results

Posted December 12th, 2011 by Racing

A great night racing with 78 racers competing in the first Pro Slalom at Norfolk. A heavy frost to keep the mat fast and the suroundings very seasonal. An excellent course set by David Beckett, resulted in some very close racing a three run pro Slalom, followed by a dual Pro Slalom knock out to round of the night,

A big thanks to all the organisers and helpers, especially Des for the mulled wine, bar and cook staff, race officials including Bernie Wright from ERSA, and a couple of grumpies who braved the heat of the race hut.

Autumn Ball Review

Posted October 11th, 2011 by Norfolk Snowsports

The first Norfolk Snowsports Autumn Ball took place on Saturday 8th October. The bar and Palfrey room looked the part and so did the 60+ guests who arrived in their long dresses; the ladies, and dinner jackets; the men. The Palfrey room was transformed into a marquee complete with gauzy ceiling and swags, twinkly lights, flower arrangements and candles.
