Transformation of the Outside Bar
What a huge difference a week makes! The outside space by the existing BBQ area has been transformed from an eyesore to an amazing space, that even George Clarke would give the thumbs up to!
Lou and Vic (with some help from the rest of the team) have spent many hours clearing, painting, sanding, signwriting and decorating in preperation for the new Alm Bar – Slopeside, which opened last Friday.
Last summer, Lou made (yep, from scratch!) the outside bar, but with lockdowns and minimal staffing in the Alm Bar, it’s been unable to be used until now.
It was great to see it so busy at the weekend, serving hot and cold drinks along with street style food. One customer said “the atmosphere just reminds me of Farmers Jam”.
The Alm Bar ‘Slopeside’ is open:
Friday 5pm – 9pm
Saturday and Sunday 9am – 8pm
Outside tables are available on a first come, first served basis.
Pop down and make the most of our unique venue whilst enjoying a cool beer or warming up with a scrummy hot chocolate and some loaded fries!!!
