As a club we would like to thank you for your patience
and continued support during the recent POMA outages.
Though nobody likes the downtime, I am sure you will join me in thanking Lee and his team
for working tirelessly to minimise the disruption.
This was due to two large amounts of damage caused by mechanical failures
and the team did a great job in getting the lift back up and running as soon as possible.
Going forward, we have a specialist contractor on site on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th March
who will replace the return wheel at the top, and the smaller guide wheel.
With this and the work that the team have already carried out we hope going forward
this will minimise future disruption.
The POMA lift will be unavailable during these two days,
but this is essential to ensure the long term functionality of the lift.
In the coming months, we plan to carry out further works
and invest in the long term future of the lift.
We will of course keep downtime to a minimum and communicate these works well in advance.
Again we thank you for your patience during this time,
and look forward to seeing you on the slope soon.
