to join our Maintenance Team.
Shift work of 38 hours per week including alternate weekends
Core job description
To work within the Maintenance team to ensure the safe and continuous provision of slopes, equipment and facilities.
To ensure the slope, equipment and club facilities are kept in good condition.
To ensure the facilities are safe for use.
To share the provision of continuous maintenance support to the club with the team.
To work with the maintenance manager and team to complete improvement and repair projects.
To be observant and to identify and report potential areas of work.
To create accurate and thorough records.
You will need strong practical skills and an ability to turn your hand to many tasks, knowledge of trades is preferable.
Physical fitness is required; much of the role involves working outside in all weathers, heavy lifting and occasionally working at height.
You will need to be resourceful; able to solve practical problems independently and motivated to complete tasks efficiently.
You must be approachable and interact well with other staff, volunteers, club members and the public.
You must be able to work to deadlines, to be precise in record keeping and be attentive to detail.
You must be responsive, flexible and proactive in dealing with unpredictable circumstances and work safely under time pressure.
