English Schools Ski Association Host Finals in Norfolk
The weekend saw 38 teams of school skiers from around the Country competing in the ESSKIA
(English Schools Ski Association) finals, including local teams from Ipswich and Norwich School.
202 school teams totaling 808 skiers had previously taken part in qualifiers on Sunday 15th September,
at Sunderland Ski Slope, Pendle, Gloucester, Welwyn, Chattem & Southampton.
The fastest racers went head to head this weekend at the Club.
124 starters from Years 3 – 8 took part Saturday morning, with Norwich School coming 2nd in the Boy’s Year 3 – 6 Category.
Saturday afternoon a further 156 competitors raced, with Norwich School
again taking a medal as 3rd in the Boy’s Year 11 – 13 Category.
