How do I get started
Norfolk Ski Club offers a range of taster sessions and lessons from complete beginner to advanced including moguls, fun park and waves on both ski's and snowboard's. Once you are past the lesson stages there are supervised sessions with instructors present to assist you in progressing further.
What is a taster
If you are interested in learning to ski but are not sure about booking a course of lessons then try a taster session first. Ski taster sessions are for those aged 8 years and over and will give you a gentle introduction to the sport and may help you decide whether or not it is for you. You will need to wear long trousers, long sleeved top, long socks and bring a pair of gloves.
What does a lesson involve
The course will include an introduction to skiing or boarding equipment and some of the basic techniques for climbing slopes, sliding and the control of sliding also included will be an introduction to the use of lifts.
All course fees include all necessary equipment including compulsory helmets. You will need to wear long trousers, long sleeved top, long socks and bring a pair of gloves.
There are advanced lessons available for those requiring further tuition.
What supervised sessions are available
Following your lessons there is a supervised session, for either adults or families, where you can improve your skills prior to open practice sessions.
