A hugely successful club run on Saturday mornings for children aged between 5 and 16 years. Up to 150 children attend each week and activities are programmed to have fun, improve technique and agility. Competitive races are organised to provide a structured progression within the group and where trophies and medals can be won.

Junior Club Agility race 28 January 2012

The first progression race of the year, and it was the awesome Agility a mixture of all mountain skills including slalom, skating, waves and pure agility. The results are attached.
Well done to those who took part and the number of progressions acheived.
A big thank you to all the Instructors and Junior Leaders who stood out in the bright but cold weather.

Junior Club this Saturday will be a Freestyle Special with Pat Sharples and his team so we are merging groups in order to allow you to get the most out of these sessions. The groups will run on the following times:
Eagle and Hawks 9am-11:45am @ £9pp
Kestrals and Kadets 11:45am-2pm @ £9pp
Free time cards or saver tickets can be used for half a session + £4.50
Junior Club during the Summer Holidays

During August, Junior Club will not be running, so instead, we have Open Practice from 10am-12noon each Saturday. This is open for children and parents, as long as everybody is a member and is signed off to ski.

Junior Club welcomed four new Junior Leaders on Saturday, They are the link between the instructors and the club members, previous leaders have gone on to national racing and freestyle competition, become instructors and coaches at the club and nationally. They are from left to right Ryan Oliver, James Kershaw, Ben Davies and Jessica Spanton. Well done guys. |
Junior Club Summer Camp

Junior Club Summer Camp 2011
Monday 8th August to Thursday 11th August
09:30am to 04:30pm everyday
All four days £80 or £25 per day
Open to all Junior Club (Eagles, Hawks, Kestrels & Kadets)
Covering all aspects of Snowsports and skiing, including racing, freestyle and working on their skiing, some tubing and hopefully a snowboard taster.

Saturday saw the Skier X race with 100 Racers heading up and down the fog bound Trowse mountain.
