Norfolk Snowsports Club runs a 6 hour course of beginner's snowboarding for £60 which runs for hour and a half for 4 consecutive weeks. Please see our lessons tab for more details on these.
For improvers, we run sessions on Monday evenings from 7-8 or 8:30-9:30 depending on your boarding level. You need to be a member to attend these sessions (please see our prices tab) and each hour is £6.50.
Supervised Level 3 from 8:30-9:30pm gives students a chance to refine all their skills learnt in a controlled environment on the main slope. Instructors will be around at all times to help you achieve the goals you need to meet in order to be signed off.
Once you are signed off you are free to ride at Open Practice or, if desired, progress to Freestlye.
Monday evenings will be focused on improvers and therefore from 7-8pm the Open Practice will be on the intermediate slope only.
For Freestyle training and sign-off, you will need to attend the 8:30-9:30pm sessions on a Monday evening in order to practice your skills and show that you are capable to attend the weekly Freestlye session without supervision.
The Thursday Freestyle Session is from 6-10pm each week and costs £5.50 per hour or £11 for the night and is designed to get out as many of our toys as possible and give you all a chance to develop your skills and push the Freestlye scene within the Club. This has led to our Farmer's Jam running regular in late Summer and various other freestlye events.
