Beginner Lessons

Adult beginner (12 and over)

Adult beginner ski lessons are designed for those with little or no ski experience aged 12 and over. The course will include an introduction to skiing equipment and some of the basic techniques for climbing slopes, sliding and the control of sliding. Also included will be an introduction to snow plough turning and the use of ski lifts. Cost for a total of 6 hours adult tuition is £50.00.

These are the Summer-Winter sessions but we do run throughout the year so please call for more availability.

Junior lessons (6-11 years)

Junior beginner lessons are held on Saturday's and are designed for those aged 6-11. Lessons are a starter four week course for £34 with a four week continuation course following on from this. The courses will include an introduction to skiing equipment and the basic techniques for climbing slopes, sliding and the control of sliding. Also included will be an introduction to snow plough turning and the use of a ski lifts. Courses are also held during school holidays.

Holiday Lessons (Aged 8 and over)

Holiday lessons run on three consecutive days and are available for anyone over the age of 8. They cost £50.00 and include an introduction to ski equipment and some of the basic techniques for climbing slops, sliding, and the control of sliding.

What to wear

You will need to wear long trousers, long sleeved top, long socks and bring a pair of gloves. Course fees include all necessary equipment including compulsory helmets.

Booking

The above program may be modified according to demand, please check with reception. All lessons must be booked and paid for in advance over the telephone.  Payment can be made in person at the club or by Credit/debit card over the phone. No refunds for cancellation will be given.
